FAQs – Turtlebox Ranger at Sunjammers, Panama City
Q: Can I pair the Turtlebox Ranger with my Gen 2 speaker?
A: We get this one a lot at our shop in Historic St. Andrews—unfortunately, the Ranger won’t pair with your Gen 2. But here’s the good news: it will sync with an unlimited number of Rangers, Gen 3s, and Grandes using Party Mode. Want to fill your whole Shell Island setup with sound? This is how you do it. (Heads up: Gen 2s are not compatible with Party Mode.)
Q: Can I connect multiple Turtlebox Ranger speakers together?
A: Absolutely! In Party Mode, you can link as many Rangers as your next beach bonfire requires. Or switch to TWS (True Wireless Stereo) to pair two Rangers for Left/Right stereo sound. Whether you’re in Panama City Beach or the backwaters of North Bay, you’ll have surround sound that turns heads.
Q: Does the Turtlebox Ranger float?
A: The Ranger is fully waterproof but not buoyant. So while it’s safe in the rain or on the boat deck, it won’t float if it falls overboard. Our local advice? Keep it close when you’re out paddling or partying near the water.
Q: Is the Turtlebox Ranger waterproof?
A: 100%. The Ranger is IP-67 rated, which means it’s totally waterproof—even saltwater—and can be submerged up to 3 feet for 30 minutes. Just be sure to:
This speaker was made for the Florida Gulf—but treat it right, and it’ll last way past beach season.
Q: Can I charge my phone or device with the Turtlebox Ranger?
A: Yes! If you’ve got a USB-C charging cable, the Ranger doubles as a power bank. Just plug into the output port and juice up your device while blasting your favorite playlist from Sunjammers to St. Andrews Marina.
